Every blogger has a list of blogging tools and resources, whether they choose to share them or not. Below I will show you my blogging tools that help me make my blog profitable.
Rest assured that the services I promote are the ones I actually use and I wouldn’t recommend them if I didn’t really like them. Without further ado, I present you with the tools I use to run a successful blog.
What can I say about SiteGround? It is without a doubt, one of the best hosting companies one could start with. Don’t fall into that Bluehost hype trap. I have already talked about why almost every blogger out there recommends Bluehost and why it isn’t worth it.
SiteGround is a highly preferred hosting company with amazing features and one of the best customer support ever. I am really pleased with SiteGround and I don’t think I’ll ever leave them.
I really love the reasonably cheap prices and the easy to use interface of NameCheap. This company is continuously growing and the past few years it has been chosen by many new bloggers who want to choose a trustworthy company for their business.
I love that they made the WhoisGuard service free forever, and also love their great customer service and high-security standards. For me, SiteGround and NameCheap is a very good combination that gives me the flexibility I need.
When it comes to choosing an email service, many bloggers start with Mailchimp. And that’s because Mailchimp is the only email service that offers a free plan up to 2,000 subscribers.
If that’s not enough until you start making some money then I don’t know what is. It is simple to setup and use for the average user and it has many sleek and beautiful templates you can start with.
Another pro is that it’s one of the most well-known email marketing services online and that makes it integrate well with almost any third-party service out there. For me, Mailchimp was the best choice.
What would I do without Tailwind?… I mean it. Tailwind is the #1 Pinterest and Instagram online scheduler tool that can save you a ton of time. It also shows you the best times for scheduling your posts and gives you great analytics on how people interact with your content.
This is definitely the most important tool in my effort to bring more traffic to my blog, and oh boy did it help! I saw a huge traffic increase from the first week and today I know with certainty that without Tailwind I would not have made it this far.
You can sign up through my link below for a full free month of TailWind so that you can try it and see for yourself.
If you take your affiliate marketing seriously, and you should, ThirstyAffiliates is a must! With this WordPress plugin, you can easily manage and edit all your affiliate links in one place.
Normally, if you had the same affiliate link in 10 different posts and that particular link someday changed, you would have to go and edit that through every single post. Not anymore!
Moreover, you can cloak long and ugly affiliate links with ease, insert affiliate links into blog posts easily and what I really like is that it provides you with great link reports. That means that you get to see how many clicks your affiliate links get every day.
Its free version is more than enough as it provides all the above features. I really love ThirstyAffiliates and it surely saves me a lot of time.
This browser extension is a must for every blogger out there. Seriously, if you haven’t installed Grammarly yet click below and get it.
Creating new posts every day is vital to bringing more traffic but if those posts are full of grammatical errors then it makes you look bad and unprofessional.
Grammarly takes care of just that and it’s absolutely free. With it, you don’t have to worry about grammar ever again!
Tab Session Manager
I can’t tell you how much I love this extension. It’s a huge time-saver for me. When I first discovered it somewhere on the internet I was literally jumping from enthusiasm.
Basically, this plugin lets you save different sessions in your browser each with a number of tabs in it. For example, I have a session called Facebook Groups and inside that, I have all the Facebook groups I am a part of, in different tabs.
I was so excited to discover this because I knew how much it would speed up my workflow by not having to reopen each tab for each stage of my work, such as writing the post, sharing it on social media, promoting it, and much more.
That’s right. I have split my workload to different sessions, otherwise, it would be chaos.
Plagiarism Checker X Pro
A plagiarism checker tool is mandatory when you publish new articles. And that’s because you don’t want your posts to include identical content from other publishers. That can happen even if you didn’t mean to.
Plagiarism Checker X Pro is a really good and affordable solution that does just that and it’s super simple to use.
I use it daily and its results are really accurate. Usually, when writing new content, you have to keep the plagiarism percentage below 10%. As a result, I never have to worry about plagiarism issues anymore!
We all know that Pinterest is a fantastic way to drive lots of traffic to your blog. When it comes to creating and designing pins for your blog posts, Canva is one of the best tools out there.
It is really simple to use and it provides many free templates, images, and elements that can help you create truly amazing pins.
I now use Photoshop for creating my pins but I used Canva in the beginning and I really loved it so I thought I have to mention it for anyone who isn’t familiar with Photoshop. It’s honestly one of the best options out there!
I hope this post helped you understand that having the right blogging tools and resources from the start is crucial for a quicker route to success.
